The main prerequisites for the creation of the University
The growing scale of modernization of the productive forces of Uzbekistan and the increasing demand for a radical renewal of the basic sectors of the economy;
A significant lag in the level of technological development of key enterprises of the republic related to the extraction and efficient use of natural resources;
Sharply increased demand from large enterprises for the training of highly qualified engineers-technologists of international level;
A limited number of non-state English-speaking higher educational institutions of engineering profile in the higher education system education in Uzbekistan;
The growing shortage of young qualified teaching staff with international educational standards and practical experience in the field of engineering sciences;
The low level of technical support of the educational and production base of most technical higher educational institutions Uzbekistan.
Teachers and students of technical institutes of the republic have poor proficiency in advanced English due to the lack of an effective system of their language training.
The presence of these prerequisites greatly contributed to the creation of the Samarkand International Technological University, designed to make a significant contribution to solving the problem of training highly qualified engineering personnel in the educational services market of Uzbekistan.
