The idea of creating SIUT
Successful integration of Uzbekistan into the world economy requires the training of qualitatively new specialists with advanced engineering knowledge, creative thinking, skills in creating and implementing innovative technologies. The key to solving this difficult task is the radical restructuring of the existing system of training engineering personnel based on international standards of technical education.
This is what the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 60, January 28, 2022, "On the Development Strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026" is aimed at, which provides for the creation of a Samarkand technological university together with leading technical universities of foreign countries.

University's own campus will be located in Samarkand on the banks of the
Zerafshan River, which is scheduled for completion in 2023.
In early September of this year, SIUT opens the doors of a Preparatory School, as well as 3 applied training centers:

IT Center.
WIN Center - Samarkand.
The Preparatory School is a functional unit designed for in-depth study of mathematics and English, which are necessary for successful admission to SIUT and other universities in Uzbekistan.
